The Dragon’s Den event was organized by the SoftechAlliance Network (SAN) at Caesars Windsor, and was billed as astepping stone for local entrepreneurs that participated, as theygot to network, get into the public eye, and move forward withtheir business plan, along with presenting these participantswith the opportunity to prosper and to grow their ideas. SAN'S DRAGONS' DEN WINNER MOVING ON TO CBC'S DRAGON'S DEN
It's been only two month since Tim Treleaven of the Trans Canada Trailer Company won SAN'S Dragons' Den Technology competition on February 26, 2010 at Caesars Windsor. Since then, Tim has been busy building his company. SAN just recently learned that Tim has been selected to compete on CBC's Dragons' Den Show in Toronto later in May. Lucky for Tim, he's already met one of the Dragons, Arlene Dickinson, at SAN's competition in February. When asked about his future appearance on CBC's hit TV show, Tim told SAN:
"I can't say enough about heading to Toronto. My family and I are extremely excited. The road to get to this point has been long and at times seemed impossible but persistence and patience has brought it within grasp. SAN's Technology competition has given me the edge and confidence to appear before the Dragon's in Toronto. I feel more prepared and at ease having the Windsor Competition experience. Moving forward I know we can "'WOW" the Dragons. We're more prepared and have a few new ideas to reveal at the show."
