SAN is putting together a range of Programs to support our members and communities. Our programs are intended to help members grow their knowledge, skills, and networks with a goal to help you succeed! Our goal is develop a range of programs that support our members across all levels of their organization.

 P2P - Peer to Peer Groups

P2P, or Peer-to-Peer, is a members-only initiative that is designed to promote professional development, knowledge sharing, and relationship building. P2Ps bring together members from various organizations within similar functional role, to share ideas and discuss industry challenges and practices in a confidential environment. P2P groups meet on a regular basis and are led by SAN members.  Find out when your P2P takes place by checking out the SAN Events page: Upcoming Events. Intertested in partcipating in one of our P2P Groups but aren't a member? SAN invites you to attend a P2P meeting on us. If following the meeting you would like to continue participating, you or your organizatoin will be required to become a member.

CEO P2P
Meetings on the 1stTuesday of every month

Time: 8AM
Location:Deloitte
Description: As a CEO you need to stay ahead of the latest ideas and concepts, gain new perspectives on technology trends, and obtain hands-on experience with the most current tools to help your organizations gain an advantage. This P2P group discusses and shares best practices on matters related to a company’s direction and strategy.

Who should attend: Members - CEO / Executive Directors / Owners

Senior Developer P2P
Meetings on the 1st Wednesday of every month (Commencing May 5th, 2010)

Time: 6PM
Location: Next Dimension, 3290 Jefferson Blvd, Suite 103, Windsor, ON, N8T 2W8
Facilitator: Jay Coulter, Next Dimension
Description: Developers meet to discuss and debate best and worst practices and industry standards as they impact products, projects, and related technologies. Additionally, developer share industry knowledge helping keep group members informed of emerging technologies and trends.

Who should attend: Members - Senior Developers (Not a member but would like to participate? Please read above)

Youth and Technology P2P (Under 30)

Group members will meet to discuss emerging technologies and educational trends within our local community and more importantly examine the role that youth play within this environment. Additionally, group members will discuss the challenges faced by youth and discover new ways of thinking and programs that will benefit our local technology community.

Who should attend: Members - Young entrepreneurs, Students, and related positions. (Not a member but would like to participate? Please read above)

Human Resources P2P
Meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of every month (Commencing May 12th, 2010)

Time: 8AM
Location: Workforce Windsor-Essex, 68 Chatham Street East, Windsor, ON N9A 5R2
Facilitator: Diane Soucie, Workforce Windsor-Essex
Description: Group members meet monthly to talk about the challenges they face in their organizations. Topics include strategic planning and expansion issues related to human resources, skills training, employee retention, and employment increase.

Who should attend: Members - VP Administration Operations Managers, HR Managers, Training Managers and related positions. (Not a member but would like to participate? Please read above)
